Mbah Maimun Zubair's burial conditions

Like the cemetery in Saudi Arabia, the cemetery in Ma'la is just a land without any buildings. Including the tomb of the Indonesian cleric, Mbah Maimun Zubair.

In the past, tombs in Saudi Arabia, especially the tombs of influential figures, were also monumental buildings.

The tomb of Siti Khadijah, for example, used to be under a large dome. However, since 1925, in line with the ideology of the state of Saudi Arabia at the time, these buildings were demolished and no more ornate tombs or monuments were allowed.

The only marker of the tomb, is a pile of stones, there is even no writing just a marker of whose grave.

Well, here is Mbah Moen's 'speciality'. His grave has a marker in the form of a pile of stones with his name written on it.
