However, not everyone knows the most effective time for Dhuha prayer, which is the most suitable and ideal time to perform this prayer. Yet, the most effective time for Dhuha prayer can bring blessings and ease in all aspects of our lives.

What is Dhuha Prayer?

Dhuha prayer is a voluntary prayer performed in the morning, after the sunrise until before the noon prayer (Dhuhr). Dhuha prayer consists of a minimum of two units (raka'ah) and a maximum of twelve units. Dhuha prayer is also referred to as the prayer of repentance (salat al-awwabin).

Why is Dhuha Prayer Important?

Dhuha prayer is important due to its numerous virtues and benefits, including:

- Dhuha prayer is a charity for each joint in our bodies.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "Every morning, every joint in one's body must perform a charity. Every utterance of praise is a charity, every declaration of Allah's greatness is a charity, every declaration of faith is a charity, every command to do good is a charity, every prohibition of evil is a charity, and performing two units of Dhuha prayer is sufficient as a charity to cover all of this." - Dhuha prayer is a means to attain lawful and blessed provisions.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "Whoever performs the dawn prayer (Fajr) in congregation, then sits and engages in the remembrance of Allah until the sun rises, then performs two units of prayer, they will receive a reward equal to that of performing a complete Hajj and Umrah." (Narrated by Tirmidhi)

- Dhuha prayer is a means to receive Allah's intercession on the Day of Judgment.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "Perform the Dhuha prayer, as it is the time when the messengers were sent. Whoever performs four units of prayer at that time will receive Allah's intercession." (Narrated by Ahmad)

When is the Most Effective Time for Dhuha Prayer?

The most effective time for Dhuha prayer is when the sun has risen to approximately the height of a spear or one-third of the sky. This time usually occurs between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., depending on the location and season. This auspicious time for Dhuha prayer is also known as Ishraq time or sunrise time.
