Comparison of AI Intelligence between ChatGPT, Bing, and Bard: Which is Better?

In the technology industry, companies are racing to create chatbots with increasingly advanced artificial intelligence (AI). Currently, there are several popular chatbot platforms, including ChatGPT, Bard, and Bing. But which AI is superior among the three?

Google has its reliable chatbot, Bard, while Microsoft develops Bing. ChatGPT, on the other hand, is a product of OpenAI, a company based in the United States. These three platforms were then compared in several tests, ranging from questions about holidays, general requests, game advice, to mortgage calculations.

According to The Verge, ChatGPT shows a sharper verbal advantage compared to Bing and Bard. However, Bing has an advantage in providing information from the internet. Meanwhile, the tests showed that Bard lagged behind ChatGPT and Bing, even though Bard is a product of a company as big as Google.

It should be noted that ChatGPT and Bing basically use the same engine, namely GPT-4. However, both provide different answers to each test. In addition, Bing has the ability to generate images in its search and access the web. However, after the tests were conducted, OpenAI announced a new feature on ChatGPT that allows it to access real-time data.

In the test related to the game Elden Ring, Bing came out as the winner after providing accurate hints on how to defeat the character Malenia. Bard came in second place because it gave less accurate hints. Meanwhile, ChatGPT came in last place because it did not have a database related to the game.

However, in the test about making chocolate recipes, ChatGPT showed victory by providing a mixture of recipes from various sources. But when the three AIs were given math questions, all three provided inconsistent answers to some questions.

In terms of calculations, it is not recommended to rely on chatbots to get the right answer. Although all three AIs have their own advantages and disadvantages, ChatGPT, Bing, and Bard remain popular choices in creating AI-based chatbots.

In conclusion, each AI-based chatbot has its own strengths and weaknesses. It depends on the tests that are given. Because the tests mentioned above are just a few examples of tests, and it is the users who will be the true testers.
