The Scientific Explanation Behind Rasulullah's Prohibition for Children to Go Out During Maghrib

Rasulullah SAW advised to stay inside the house when Maghrib time arrives, and surprisingly, this can be explained scientifically.

In a hadith, Rasulullah SAW said, "Do not let your children out when the sun sets until the darkness of the night disappears, for the devils are let loose when the sun sets until the darkness of the night disappears," (Narrated by Jabir in Sahih Muslim).

In a similar hadith, Rasulullah SAW also advised to keep babies safe during Maghrib time.

In Sahih Muslim, Rasulullah SAW said,

"When night falls, or when you enter the evening, hold onto your children, for the devils spread out at that time. After an hour of the night has passed, release them, close the doors, and mention Allah's name, for the devil does not open a closed door."

Understanding the Scientific Explanation of Maghrib Time

According to the book "The Science Of Shalat" by Prof. DR. Ir. H. Osly Rachman, as Maghrib time approaches, the environment changes into a spectrum of red light. Light is an electromagnetic (EM) wave that has different color spectra.

The Different Color Spectra and Its Effects on Humans

Each color spectrum has different energy, frequency, and wavelength. When it's Maghrib time, the color spectrum of the environment changes to red. The red color has the same frequency as jin and iblis.

The Similar Frequency of Humans and Jin/Iblis

Due to the similar frequency of the environment, jin and iblis have a very strong energy. Meanwhile, humans experience overlapping color frequencies during the transition from light to dark, causing blurry and less focused vision.

The Islamic Teachings Regarding Maghrib Time

In Islamic teachings, it is explained that the devil comes along with the darkness during Maghrib time. The devil and jin will start to spread and search for a place to live and hide, and only Allah knows their number.

The Movement of Devils During Maghrib Time

The devils that are searching for a hiding place will flee from other devils who have more power. They will move faster than human speed and seek protection in empty containers, empty houses, and among people sitting outside their houses during Maghrib time.

Staying Indoors During Maghrib Time

It is recommended to stay indoors during Maghrib time to avoid the presence of the devil and jin. By doing so, we can protect ourselves from their influence and maintain our safety.
