Ustadz Adi Hidayat (UAH) from Indonesia in his lecture once delivered a discussion about one of the animals that could be the incarnation of a jinn.
If the animal is suddenly in the house, you should not be in a hurry to kill it immediately or be treated harshly, because it could be that the animal is an incarnation of a jinn.

Regarding the discussion of these animals, Ustadz Adi Hidayat once conveyed one of the hadiths related to the statement of the jinn.
According to the hadith, the jinn had promised the Prophet Muhammad not to appear in the house of a believer.
The same thing is also explained in the 72nd sura of the Qur'an, namely the sura Al Jin.
Ustadz Adi Hidayat explained that the genie could come to anyone's house, but still with an agreement with Rasulullah SAW, that the Muslim jinn would not appear, in the sense that it would not reveal its true form. But he hears that we read the Koran.
Although the genie group in general will not appear in their original form, they have a devious way to reveal their form. They can manifest themselves in other forms, including the form of an animal.
In this regard, Ustadz told about animals that entered someone's house at the time of the Prophet.
Without thinking, the person immediately killed the animal, but in the end he regretted it.
With a troubled heart, the person also reported and complained to the Prophet Muhammad and begged for forgiveness.
Rasulullah SAW said, "Ask Allah for forgiveness because the animal is a Muslim jinn."
The animal referred to by Ustadz Adi Hidayat is a snake. So we need to be alert if suddenly a snake appears in the house.
According to him, there are rules set in the city of Medina, if there is a snake that enters the house it must not be killed. Just evicted.
However, if the snake has a white stripe on its back or a short tail, then it is permissible to kill it. Because it indicates that the snake is venomous.
Furthermore, Ustadz Adi Hidayat also said that the best way to treat snakes that suddenly enter the house is to warn them 3 times. If the snake does not want to come out, it can be killed.
